Weekend Recap

1 date with my favorite 2 year old in the whole world to see Curious George
1 box of popcorn dumped on the theater floor
2 birthday parties
1 pancake festival
2 tickets to a play wasted because we were too tired to go
1 dinner at Jason's Deli, just Trey and I
3 hours spent shopping for Oscar party goodies
2 trips to Target
1 haircut that left me feeling sassier than I've felt in awhile
a 3 hour nap with the Bdog
1 trip to the grocery store
$70 spent with very little to show for it--ugh!
1 carton of creamy macaroni and cheese eaten while watching Drew Lachey win Dancing with the Stars
1 child put to bed so that mom can watch Grey's Anatomy undisturbed
2 loads of laundry done and 2 more to go
7 days 'till the Oscars!

That sounds like a great weekend.

I felt awefully bored yesterday. Exercised, drew my portrait, played with baby alot, made cookies, but didn't leave the house because it is soooooo cold here. Sometimes I love spending the day staying in~ a lot of the time actually, but for some reason this weekend felt like getting out and didn't. Great to hear about yours.

Can't wait to see fab new do!

Ah, nothing like a good haircut to help Mama get her groove (on? back?)! And I want to hear some pointers on getting a baby to sleep during one's fave show. I'd love to try it during Project Runway's finale next week.

There so needs to be a pancake festival in my area! I would be there so happily!

Sounds like a great weekend. My goddaughter is obsessed with Curious George (under her mother's guidance) and it was her first real movie in the movie theater!

And it's always a good thing to see Grey's Anatomy undisturbed.

what a lovely weekend! how was Curious George? Been contemplating whether to take my 3yo and 6yo? And Grey's Anatomy is kick ass this season, isn't it? And a nap -- could you remind me what that is again, I seem to forget seems it's been so long since I have had one of those ;)
