Beyond living and dreaming there is something more important: waking up.

Stunning photograph. Ahhh...and to the waking up Rumi says...

"You must ask for what you truly want.
Don't go back to sleep.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep."

Love the photo.

I think I am a little lost in the quote. Is waking up not the twilight between dreaming and living?

What a beautiful photo AND reminder to wake up! Yes. Loved reading the Rumi quote in the comments too.
(I have also heard that once you wake up, there is no going back.)

An exquisite picture! Who wouldn't want to wake up to such beauty?! The Rumi poem came to mind for me as well. The whole poem is:
The breezes at dawn have secrets to tell
Don't go back to sleep!
You must ask for what you truly want
Don't go back to sleep!
People are going back and forth
across the threshold
Where the two worlds touch
The door is round and open
Don't go back to sleep!

Great quote and awesome photo - this is the same thing I see when I go for a run in the evenings, running by a patch of decidous trees where the blackbirds have taken to gathering in the past month.

I love their din ~ Josephine
