I suppose there are a million paths to healing.
Some find religion,
others find therapy.
Some find movement,
others find action.
Some find it in community,
others find it in the eyes of the future.
I imagine the most important thing
is to find the path that's right for you
and strive to stay on course,
trusting your moments to unfold as they will.
I choose to wake up every morning,
even when I don't want to.
I worship the incredible contrasts of
both nature and life.
I loose myself in the colors of the sunset.
I celebrate the ever shifting clouds.
I kneel at the Earth's great alter
and breathe a little deeper.
And all the while I struggle to rest
in the never ending spiral
of living and learning
and coming home.

Oh wow, I just read your last two entries, and was so very moved. It reminded me of something Anne Lamott wrote about herself when she was 33 years old. She wrote, "Learning how to eat was about learning how to live." I have really struggled on and off with loving and loathing my body at different times in my life. I think the most acute pain is not the rejection of others, but our rejecting ourselves. I am so grateful to have discovered your site. I am new to blogging myself and your site is a real blessing. Thank you! p.s. Your photos are beautiful as well!

Your heart is in your hand, it is beautiful and surrounded by other symbolic hearts; one of pearls, one of silver with nine baby diamonds, and the one in the center a pink gem! It is one like your own heart...full of vibrant life heart of love!

You need to publish your words in one book. I would be the first in line!
