It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

And yes, it's the hap-happiest season of all because it is the annual Friends of the Library booksale. Do you see all my goodies? They're not just goodies...they're CHEAP goodies. All of this, all 12 books, for $11! Yes, eleven U.S. dollars. It's like Christmas for booklovers. Now the hard part...where do I start?

Oooh, I love some of these books..."Girls Guide"...I saw Melissa Bank do a reading with that when I lived in Portland..."The Prophet"...I first read in '73 (a gift from my then boyfriend)...Anne Lamott...I liked "Blue Shoes" but like her nonfiction better... Great selection...and so cheap!! :)

I loved Memoirs and Blue Shoe and Ellen Foster AND Girls Guide. Don't know where I'd start either.
