New Beginnings

Sometimes the endings fade into the beginnings and the beginnings mingle with the endings until you can no longer tell the one from the other and find you are left with a bittersweet confusion and a longing for the sweet and promised resurrection.
Welcome to this wonderful crazy world Canyon Clae Fleming. So sweet. So perfect. So complete.

His fingers are so small. My Stella's 1st birthday is tomorrow, so all day i've been remembering my first moments with her. They get so big so fast. Congradulations!!!

Ah, another nut has fallen from the crazy tree! just teasin'! I love the snapshot! I was very concerned about the growth on that child's hand until I realized it is just some big person's thumb! Damn, do you have to be in every picture? Canyon Clay, now that's funny! here is a birthday blessing for your new nephew:
"may you never loose the boy
as the man does ever grow.
it's only in adversity that
one's true strengths do show
life is what you make of it
you'll reap the love you sow.
remember in the winter time'
I can't help it. Its the poet in me. Congrats to you & yours.(p.s.-does you mother know about this yet?)

Congratulations Auntie M! What a lucky boy Canyon is to have you for his aunt. I enjoyed the photos and love your thought about being unable to tell endings from beginnings.

I adore this entry. As you know, my father just passed away in August. What you didn't know, my husband and I also miscarried our first child in February. It's been a heck of a year! I see this image and I know that God is good (in recent conversations with Him, I've accused Him of being less than nice)! Thank you for sharing this blessing with me. Canyon, thank you.
